Bisou Cupcakes

I settled my errands quite fast & I had another hour or so till I pick my son from pre school. It was troublesome to go back home so I decided to kill some time in Bangsar village. Checked out a few clothings from Wallis & Warehouse... they looked elegant and I felt like buying them. What stopped me ?! Well, I already got 2 dresses this week ! So I quickly decided to chill and get something to eat instead....... Immediately Bisou came to my mind. I love their cupcakes..... Yum ! I usually get Dark Secret. Its dark chocolate butter cake topped with lots of dark chocolate butter frosting.

Their November promo cupcake was Chocolush which was almost similar to their dark secret. I decided to get that.... cant go wrong, its chocolate anyway. Its a chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. Its very moist, creamy & yummy ! It wasnt too sweet too.....

L'erbolario - Is derived from the word erborare which is an ancient term. It means 'to gather herbs from the fields, in order to study their beneficial properties. One of their products are their Hedera range which i decided to check it out. The plant Hedera Helix or better know as Ivy / common Ivy / English Ivy is a flowering plant that clings & climbs on the house walls, tree trunks and waste spaces. This in the language of flowers & plants symbolises loyalty and faithfulness. With this in mind the Hedera range products was born. The antioxidant properties of the Hedera Helix extract helps protect the skin naturally.

         

                     

The packaging was simple & beautiful. It comes with a bubble bath & perfumed cream for the body. 

The bubble bath ( Bagnoschiuma ) contains Hedera Helix extract, wheat amino acid surfactants, and sweet almond protein that will give you a youthful skin. Just a small tablespoon of this product gives you a voluptuous fragrant. The other one is a perfumed body cream. It contains Vitamin E from the seeds of Soja, used directly after bathing to moisturise. The absorption is rapid leaving behind a fragnance that calms you down..... which I love :)   

Maybelline New York

I had a chance to attend Maybelline New York's Catwalk to Sidewalk grand finale party that was held at Neverland Club KL. The party was held to announce the #ROCKETME2NY winner. A total of 13 finalist were there to compete in the challenge. The winners get to attend New York Fashion Week 2014 all expenses paid for.... how cool is that ?!

As you enter the club, a huge graffiti wall is placed for you to sign & write lovely messages. I just had time to scribble my name with Maybelline's lipstick. Guess who i spotted there. Yup.... that's Maybelline Malayisa's ambassador Elfira Loy :)

                           
The 13 finalist had to undergo a few other challenges before reaching the finals. They were all good but one or two were definitely better i felt. Their final challenge was D.I.Y makeover transformation and based on this, 2 winners will be picked.

The Runway 

There were also a stellar display of make up & high fashion featuring exclusive fashion runway collaboration with Malaysia's notable fashion retailers, a dance performance and free flow of drinks & food

After much anticipation the 2 winners were picked. I guessed as much.... they were the best two. Grats to Fifi & Wiida for winning the trip to New York fashion week.

Bobbi Brown

As I was checking my mails, I stumbled upon a mail from Bobbi Brown that said this

Hmmm.... it got me thinking ! Should I or shouldn't I go. Its a mail that I usually would ignore & delete but this time I decided to check it out. What harm can it bring anyway.... and so after sending my lil son to pre-school I walked in to a Bobbi Brown store :)

It only takes about 20 mins. The make up artist will teach you on how to apply the eye shadow for one eye & then the other eye is all yours ! You got to try and apply what you have learnt but of course she is there to help touch up

A step by step to have a wonderful smokey eye

1. Apply Extra Repair Moisture Cream

    The nutrients included in the cream helps to improve your skin's moisture barrier for
    better hydration. No matter what your skin type is, this cream will keep you hydrated
    through the day

2. Apply Long Wear Eye Base  - for me she went with a medium to dark shades

The secret behind Long Wear Eye Base is in its broad range of skin tone correct shades to neutralize and diminish redness and skin discoloration. Eyelids are soothed, smoothed and perfectly primed. 

   

3. Next apply Eye Shadow using the smokey warm eye palette

the colours that you see are
1. Ivory eye shadow
2. Antique gold metallic eye shadow
3. Blonde eye shadow
4. Chiffon sparkle eye shadow
5. Golden chocolate metallic eye shadow
6. Espresso eye shadow


The first colour she applied was the Ivory eye shadow followed by Antique gold metallic eye shadow. The third colour was golden chocolate followed by the Espresso. Finally to give a little sparkle she added the chiffon sparkle.


4. Apply Corrector -  Deep Bisque shade

    A wakeup call for tired eyes. Corrector is pink or peach based to neutralize under
    eye darkness and is designed to be used before creamy concealer. New and improved
    formula is long wearing and brightens dark circles with quick, just-right coverage that's
    easy to blend and won't crease.

5. Apply concealer - she picked Golden shade for me

     The concealer blends easily to instantly cover and brighten dark circles. It also
     helps maintain skin's moisture levels for a smooth, virtually line-less look. Fuss-free
     pressed powder sets concealer for long lasting wear

6. Apply eye-liner - using Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

    This liner gives you the look of liquid liner with the ease & feel of a gel formula.
    Long-wearing, water-resistant colour glides on and let's you get it just right
    before it dries - then stays without a smear or crease

Its also important what type of brush you use to apple these stated above.

The Beginning

Decided to check out the Markets @ Jaya one on the 5th of October. It was definitely a platform for upcoming vendors & fashion lovers. There were more than 100 vendors to choose from..... and that made it difficult to decide what to buy instantly.

You are spoiled for choices when it comes to earrings, rings & clothes ! I would say 60% of the vendors were selling these items.

 

Some of the stuff that i bought and Im loving it !

Hubby spotted a vendor selling posters and immediately decides to get a few. The kids would definitely love the last 2 posters !!

I must mark my calender for the next one ! Hoping not to miss it...........
